"Eureka! I have just found a photo of the original bridge over the Moselle where it meets the Lea. It is a cropped part of a larger composite picture taken by my father from the banks of the East Warwick Reservoir on Whit Monday 1925. The bridge was like this when I was very young (or as a late friend of mine used to put it 'when God was a little boy')."
