Learn the traditional art of willow weaving during this special workshop with Angela Baker, artistic director of Twisted Stocking and project manager of the borough-wide ‘A River Runs Through It ‘project. Do drop in on us, lend a hand in the construction of a willow hut in the shape of the famous Cole pottery kilns, that stood on the plot of the old Race Track Stadium, now the Green Lanes Sainsbury’s! Together with TCV, we will be preparing the ground for a medium and maybe small set of kilns that will become a focal point for visitors coming into the Barington Road entrance. Children will use it as a Play Hut and it will flag up where the Moselle runs its course in high waters.
